Let’s dive into another spoiler-free review for episodes 13-14 of Bay Yanlış (Mr. Wrong), starring Can Yaman and Özge Gürel, in this post. They had previously worked together on Dolunay.
To date, fourteen episodes have been aired. Spoiler-free review for episodes 1-5 are available here.
Spoiler-free review for episodes 6-12 are available here.
Bay Yanlış is a romantic, fun, and light-hearted drama. It features a great lead pair, a strong supporting cast, and a good script as well.

EPISODE 13
After two back-to-back brilliant episodes, episode 13 turned out to be okayish. It was more of a filler episode. At the end of episode 12, the big question that the audience had in its mind was – is everything going to be fine between Özgür and Ezgi? Well, the answer is a No.
EPISODE 14
This is the last episode of Bay Yanlış. It was overall a good episode, but many questions were left unanswered. Thankfully, Ezgür have a happy ending.
However, Fox Turkey’s decision to end the series so suddenly is disrespectful to the entire cast and crew as well as the audience. This resulted in a rushed ending. So, I cannot say that I enjoyed the episode wholeheartedly.
Anyways, I have decided I am not going to watch another Turkish series from Fox until it is confirmed it will not be finished midway, thereby, leaving the audience hanging.
My final thoughts: I enjoyed watching Bay Yanlış. It was short but sweet and hooked my attention. This is no easy feat given that Turkish series have two-hour long episodes. Can Yaman and Özge Gürel have amazing chemistry, which was allowed to blossom from the start, unlike Dolunay. If only the series had been allowed to reach its logical conclusion, it would have been better.
You can also watch Can Yaman’s previous series, Inadına Aşk, Dolunay, and Erkenci Kuş.

Yes, it was disappointing. But as a consolation, the main couple has a happy ending. But you can always watch previous shows of Can Yaman (the male lead). They are very good. 🙂

I have not read another review on a Turkish series, Debjani, so this was fascinating. It sounds like it has a lot of potential but what a shame it was cancelled early. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts.

Ah, yes, it was going on very strong. I’m puzzled as to why it didn’t work out.
